1. Ethan gets a shock
In the week where Ethan is about to attend his sentencing, he overhears a shocking conversation between Ruby and Rose.
Wanting to use his final hours of freedom for good, Ethan confides in his dad about his concerns for Dawn. After Charles’ encouragement, Ethan leaves Dawn a worrying voicemail.
2. Ethan collapses
As Ethan prepares to attend court, he and Charles have a heart-to-heart. Their relationship hasn’t been the same since Charles shopped his son to the police, but Charles gives him his full support.
As Charles irons his suit, Ethan collapses in the living room. Manpreet tries to resuscitate Ethan but he’s not responding. Charles is terrified that the worst might happen.
3. Dawn is concerned
After hearing Ethan’s voicemail, Dawn’s really worried by the serious tone of his message.
But as Dawn wonders what Ethan meant, she has no idea he has collapsed.
4. Tom controls the situation
With Belle away from home after recent events, Tom is horrified when his wife requests Lydia visits rather than him.
Angered, Tom comes up with a sickening new plan to manipulate the situation.
5. Leyla digs for dirt on Ella
As Ella and Liam grow closer, his ex-wife Leyla is suspicious of his new girlfriend, convinced she’s hiding something.
When Leyla discovers there’s no trace of Ella online, she’s determined to do some digging and find out who she really is.
6. Liam takes action
As Ella’s mysterious life becomes the talk of the village, Manpreet tells Liam something she discovered about his girlfriend.
When Liam hears about what Manpreet saw, he’s motivated to take action…
7. Cain considers leaving
Cain has a surprising change of heart next week when he considers making a huge move away from Emmerdale.
Hearing that his young son Kyle is being bullied again for his involvement in Al’s death, Cain wonders whether the family would be better off making a fresh start elsewhere.
