Emmerdale fans spotted a scene error during the latest episode on ITV on Tuesday.
As viewers will know, Victoria Sugden has split up with Jacob Gallagher so as to not hold him back from taking on a placement in Berlin as part of his medical studies. While she was trying to do the right thing, Jacob’s family have no seen it that way and his mum Leyla Harding is on the warpath.
The latest trip to the Dales saw a very tipsy Victoria return to the village after a bottomless brunch with Wendy Posner. Leyla made her way towards Victoria and they began arguing.
When Leyla compared Victoria to evil Maya Stepney, Victoria slapped her across the face. After an ad break, Victoria immediately seemed to have sobered up as she spoke to Leyla, before returning home to ice her hand.
She told Wendy the “sting of embarrassment” for her actions was worse than the pain. And many Emmerdale viewers noticed the difference in her.
On X, formerly Twitter, Meg said: “Vic sobered up quick”.
Alisha said: “Vic went from stumbling about to stone cold sober in one slap” and Angie said: “Victoria went from drunk to sober in 0.2 seconds.”
